  Probably my favorite pizza joint in town. Great food, great service! Keep it up!! Family salad is substantial, generous with the bowls of ranch for dipping. Combination pizza is the best I've ever had (and I've lived in Chicago)!!

  We have called in order here numerous times....tonight was the worse experience with them. I called in an order at a little after 4. Was told to pick it up in 20 minutes. My boyfriend and good friend went ro pick up our order. A short time later i got phone call frombmy boyfriend saying that they don't have our order. He said they called their other location...still no order. I preceded to call the store to talk to the manager....who said he was sorry but the order was never placed. So ummm who did i place my order with????? He asked if I spelled my name right? He also proceeded to tell me that I called the wrong store. I told him I don't know how I called the wrong store when I just pushed redial.
  Pretty much making it to it all being my fault. Which upset me even more.
  Needless to say they reorder and paid. Came back home then went back.... turns out they gave our order to someone else. The only reason why they figured that out is cause the other people called and said they got the wrong order.
  Just an I'm sorry for putting all the blame on you is no acceptable. Learn better customer service. You and your staff messed up. Which does happen i understand. But the way you just immediately put the blame on me wasn't right.

  I felt sorry for our waitress, as she was spread pretty thin. The dining area was nearly full and she was the only waitress we saw working the floor, while about 12 people were behind the counter. My husband and I felt pretty neglected through no fault of hers. It appears that management needs to hire more wait staff.
  
  The reason why I'm going only giving two stars is because of the quality of the pizza; it was poorly made. The sauce was too thin with inconsistencies in the thickness of the crust and they were sparse with their toppings. We've  been to David's on Hammer twice and won't go back because we had the same problems both times.
  
  I would not recommend this place. The David's Pizza in Lincoln Center has friendly, prompt and courteous staff with clean tables and restrooms. We'll stick with David's in Lincoln Center.

  1st time here... wasn't great. Poor service... not a fan of the pizza. Strawberry Mango smoothie was too sweet... asked for water... never got it...

  If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I went to David's last night with our kids and nephews. We didn't get any attention for about 20 minutes. We placed the order with the waitress  we got the family special which was a large pizza, a family salad and a pitcher of soda. We also ordered French fries for the kids. We got the fries, they were burnt and way over cooked. The pizza and salad came out. The lettuce was soggy the beans in the salad were sour and the pizza WASNT COOKED! The pepperoni and linguicia tasted and felt as if they were out in after they melted the cheese in the oven. The dough was lent cooked through either. I wanted to get the waitresses attention to let her know but she never came back to the table after dropping off the food. We had somewhere to be and couldn't wait any longer. We will drive out of our way to go to Michael's. At least there our pizza will come fully cooked.
